TAKRAW IN MY LIFE

Takraw is the well know traditional games amongst Malay community since long time ago. The ball originally is made of rattan. Rattan skin is very smooth and easy to bend to create the size of the ball. In fact, rattan give more bouncing momentum that help player to kick around. During, old time Malay community takraw is played by villager for their past time. The game is only with group of people that line up in circle. The ball will be kicking around them and the winner is base on the frequency of the tapping (balancing) the ball. Learn the basic skill from this site.

Every evening if my spare and friends would go play takraw in sepak takraw court, this is the equipment that always carried when want to play takraw.

Any shoes footwear shall be worn if you want to play takraw, depending on the comfort la ..heheh.. but this is the most suitable shoes if you want to play, I've got one pair ..

During my participation in the sport of friends, we have represented the university in Sepak Takraw competition held at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM). University Utara Malaysia we represent (UUM).
